Below is a list of descriptions for the staff positions that are available. These should be taken as summaries, and not an exhaustive list of all duties for each position.

- Security Staff
- Helps keep the convention safe
- Deals with violations of rules
- Reports any illegal activities to Head of Security
- **Registration Desk Assistant(s)
- Assists the Director of Member Relations with the registration desk (checking members in, issuing badges, etc.)
- Other duties assigned by the Director of Member Relations
- Sign Coordinator
- Creates (as defined by Director of Member Relations), installs, maintains, and removes signage around the convention center
- Info Desk Staff
- Mans the Info Desk
- Answers questions members may have, etc.
- Charges, maintains, repairs all radios used by convention staff
- Works in shifts
- Volunteer Coordinator
- Maintains a list of volunteers
- Checks volunteers in/out
- Assigns/collects volunteer badges and radios as necessary
- Screening Assistant
- Assists the Screening Room Coordinator in showing media or to maintain security of the media
- Other duties assigned by the Screening Room Coordinator
- **Parking Assistant(s)
- Reports directly to the Operations Manager
- Directs vehicle traffic as necessary to maintain order in the parking lots
- Ensures that parking is smooth, operational, safe and secure
- **Hallway Traffic Assistant(s)
- Reports directly to the Operations Manager
- Works with Security to ensure that hallway traffic flows smoothly and safely
- Works with Line Assistants to ensure lines and hallway traffic coexist well
- Directs hallway traffic as necessary to maintain order in the hallways
- **Seating Assistant(s)
- Reports directly to the Operations Manager
- Ensures that proper seating (mostly in the ballroom) is maintained
- Ensures that fire code is maintained
- **Operations Staff / Assistant(s)
- Reports directly to the Operations Manager
- Assists the Equipment Coordinator by physically moving equipment under the direction of the Equipment Coordinator
- **Line Assistant(s)
- Reports directly to the Operations Manager
- Ensures that people do not cut in line or cause any safety hazards.
- Per the direction of the Operations Manager, installs and removes tape on the ground to control the lines' direction
- Disabled Services Coordinator
- Ensure that disabled members/guests will have proper access to locations in the convention and ensure that they have their special needs met (within reason and legal requirements)
